I should be blogging about my crazy dating life lately. I almost completely forgot some poor boy last night and left him waiting for a while at the J. Clyde. When he wasn’t on my radar I made plans with a different guy.

My family me the boy’s family. I think it went pretty well. Nothing bad happened!

Sorry oh-so-frequent readers for my lack of updates lately. Nothing very interesting has happened. Mainly I’m just on work overload all the time. That’s what happens when there are a million deadlines and only a few folks. One of my BFF coworkers got a fancy new job and his last day was a week ago. I cried.

Next weekend should be fun. I’ve got two tight friends rolling into town and we will play and chat and hopefully be dumb. That’s my favorite thing to do on Friday nights. Plus I enjoy introducing my friends to each other. One is the future roomie- free concerts!

On a more random note, I got a wet spot on the back of my dress somehow and can’t sit normally. All kinds of first world problems up in here!

Something is off kilter for me lately. I think treating my body better might be a good start for getting all of my hormones and such back in the proper order. My anxiety just won’t go away, which is fine except it is messing with my sleep patterns again. I don’t love waking up every few minutes and feeling constantly on edge. Prayer and meditation are helping, but I can’t help but wonder what is eating at me. Sure work is busy. I’ve got problems in my social life. Who doesn’t? I’ve gained weight and my track record for dealing with mental pain in a healthy manner has been compromised. The signs don’t point in a good direction. My hope is that the upcoming sunny weather will help me with my goal to get my body and mind back in order.

Who’s with me?! I’m working on team optimism.

The title today comes from a Taking Back Sunday song. It’s stuck in my head.
